Panel Saws First Made by German Odendo. Wilheim was invented in 1906. After more than a hundred years of development, the panel saw has undergone earth-shaking changes. From the original simple panel saw to now advanced CNC electric panel saw, panel saw has gone through more than 100 years. China's production of precision panel saws has a history of more than 20 years, and has gone through the road of introduction, digestion, absorption, continuous improvement and continuous development. In 1975, in order to improve the technical level of China's wood processing industry, the China Trade Promotion Committee and the Ministry of Forestry invited some manufacturers of Italian woodworking machinery manufacturing industry to introduce relevant products to China. At that time, the Italian Jiban (GIBEN) company launched the precision panel saw technology for the first time in China. In 1983, Qingdao Yongqiang Woodworking Machinery Co., Ltd., Shanghai Furniture Machinery Factory and Nanjing Woodworking Machinery Factory successively produced precision panel saws. At the first International Woodworking Machinery Exhibition in Beijing in 1986, Italian precision panel saws participated in the exhibition, which attracted the general attention of China's furniture manufacturing industry and woodworking machinery manufacturing industry. Since then, more than 30 domestic woodworking machinery manufacturing enterprises have begun to produce precision panel saws.

With the progress of mechanical processing and electrical engineering, the current cutting board is gradually developing to fully automatic, and the addition of numerical control has greatly improved the processing efficiency of traditional cutting board products. For example, the lifting and tilting of the saw blade can be completely computer-controlled, and even the entire cutting process is fully automated. Of course, due to the current domestic market needs to focus on semi-automatic and manual panel saws, the promotion of fully automatic panel saws need a process.
